The interactive session with citizens took place at Bharat Ratna Gulzarilal Nanda Hall, MHADA Headquarters in Bandra (East).

The proceedings were overseen by Mrs. Revati Gaikar, Chief Officer of the Konkan Board. A total of 24 public grievances were presented during the event, out of which 18 were resolved immediately. For the remaining complaints, Mrs. Gaikar directed relevant officials to ensure prompt follow-up and resolve the pending issues within a fixed timeframe. She emphasized that department heads must give top priority to these matters and provide regular updates to applicants.

The initiative is part of the 100-Day Action Plan being implemented across departments under the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis and the strategic guidance of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Housing Minister Shri Eknath Shinde. One of the key pillars of this action plan is the timely resolution of public grievances.

In support of this citizen-focused initiative, Mr. Sanjeev Jaiswal, IAS, Vice President and CEO of MHADA, had previously advised all regional boards to commence Janata Darbar programs without delay. Acting on these directives, the Konkan Board successfully organized its first session today. This initiative allows citizens to raise their concerns directly before senior officials, ensuring accountability and swift administrative response.
