Personal Life & Values

Born on April 7, 1972, in Kolkata, Sanjeev Jaiswal was raised in a traditional business family. He is the youngest of five siblings, each accomplished in their respective fields—engineering, chartered accountancy, medicine, and entrepreneurship
The loss of his father at a young age shaped his life’s direction, as he pursued the dream his father once held for him—to serve the nation through civil services. Despite being illiterate, his mother provided unyielding support and encouragement, which became the foundation of his journey.
He is married to Siddhi Jaiswal, a social worker and founder of Sneh Asha Foundation, an NGO dedicated to uplifting students from MCGM schools. Together, they have two children, Sahil and Siddhi Jaiswal, who continue to be a source of strength and joy.
Outside his professional responsibilities, Jaiswal enjoys painting, singing, photography, and traveling, reflecting a holistic approach to leadership and life.
Family Legacy & Support

Jaiswal’s family values are firmly anchored in integrity and responsibility. His father-in-law served as a retired Income Tax Commissioner. In 2016, his mother-in-law, battling advanced Parkinson’s disease, formally divided her ancestral property equally between her two children—Siddhi and her brother—through an official will, exemplifying fairness and transparency.
The unwavering support of his extended family continues to strengthen his resolve and sense of purpose in public service.
