Deadline Extended Until 28 August for Submitting Online Applications For the Lottery of 5,285 flats and 77 plots for Sale

Computerised draw to be held on 18 September 2025 at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruha, Thane

Mumbai, 13 August 2025: The Konkan Housing and Area Development Board, a regional unit of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), has extended the deadline until 28 August 2025 for the registration and payment process for the sale of 5,285 flats under various housing schemes in Thane city and district, Vasai (Palghar district), as well as 77 plots in Oros (Sindhudurg district) and Kulgaon–Badlapur. The draw of lots for applications received along with the earnest money will now be held on 18 September 2025 at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruha, Thane, as informed by the Board’s Chief Officer, Mrs. Revati Gaikar.

As per the revised schedule, online applications for this lottery can be submitted until 11:59 PM on 28 August 2025. Payment of the earnest money can be made online until 11:59 PM on 29 August 2025. Applicants who complete all the required documentation will be deemed eligible under this system. The provisional list of accepted applications for the lottery will be published on MHADA’s official website https://housing.mhada.gov.in at 6:00 PM on 7 September 2025. Applicants may submit claims and objections regarding the provisional list until 6:00 PM on 9 September 2025. The final list of accepted applications for the lottery will be published on the MHADA website at 6:00 PM on 16 September 2025.

This lottery announced by the Konkan Board is divided into five categories. Under the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme, there are a total of 565 flats; under the 15% Integrated Urban Housing Scheme, there are 3,002 flats; under the MHADA Konkan Board Housing Scheme and scattered flats (as is), there are 1,677 flats; under the MHADA Konkan Board Housing Scheme (50% Affordable Housing), there are 41 flats; and 77 plots are available for sale under the MHADA Konkan Board Housing Scheme.
