Extension to The E-Auction Process of 84 Non-Residential Shops of MHADA Mumbai Board

Mumbai, 21 January 2026:
The Mumbai Housing and Area Development Board (a regional unit of MHADA) has granted an extension for the online registration and application submission process for the e-auction of 84 non-residential shops located across various housing projects in Mumbai. The new deadline for registration and submission of applications is 2 February 2026, 11:59 PM.
The online bidding-based e-auction will take place on 4 February 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on the website www.eauction.mhada.gov.in for applicants found eligible through the computerized system. The consolidated result of the e-auction will be declared on 5 February 2026, at 11:00 AM on both the websites https://eauction.mhada.gov.in and https://mhada.gov.in.
In this e-auction, 04 non-residential shops will be available for sale at Mulund Gavanpada, 05 at Kurla – Swadeshi Mill, 15 at Kopri Powai, 01 at Model Town, Majaswadi, Jogeshwari (East), 01 at Siddharth Nagar, Goregaon, 17 at Bimbisar Nagar, Goregaon (East), 29 at Malvani, Malad, and 12 at Charkop.
The base sale price for these non-residential shops has been fixed as per MHADA’s revised resolution. According to the new resolution, the sale price of the non-residential shops is set at 100% of the commercial ready reckoner rate. With the reduction in sale prices, the Board’s Chief Officer Mr. Milind Borikar has appealed to citizens to participate in the e-auction process.
To participate in the e-auction process, the applicant must be above 18 years of age at the time of application. It is mandatory for the applicant to submit a domicile certificate issued by the State of Maharashtra after 2018 and to pay the prescribed earnest money deposit as per the offset price.
Detailed eligibility criteria, details of each shop, social reservation, application procedure, terms and conditions, online application instructions, and the information booklet related to the said auction are available on the Lottery > Eauction > Eauction portal on the websites https://eauction.mhada.gov.in and https://mhada.gov.in. The Board has appealed to applicants to carefully read all the detailed terms and conditions on the website and in the information booklet before submitting their applications.
