Mumbai, December 11, 2025:

The Nashik Housing and Area Development Board (a regional unit of MHADA) successfully conducted a computerized lottery for the sale of 447 houses under MHADA Housing Schemes and the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme. These houses are located in Gangapur Shivar, Deolali Shivar, Pathardi Shivar, Mhasrul Shivar, Nashik Shivar, and Agar Takli Shivar in Nashik city.

The lottery was drawn under the authorization of the Chairman of the Nashik Board, Mr. Ranjan Thakare. A total of 947 applications were received for 447 housing units.

While addressing the gathering at the Nashik Board’s administrative office, “Grihanirman Bhavan,” Chairman Mr. Ranjan Thakare stated that the Board is continuously striving to provide quality and affordable housing to every homeless citizen in the state. He further informed that the Board has set a target to construct 2,000 houses through 20 new projects in the coming year. Land has already been acquired in Jalgaon, Dhule, and Pimpalgaon Baswant (Nashik), and construction of 1,000 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) will commence soon, ensuring affordable housing for common citizens.

On this occasion, the Chief Officer of the Board, Mr. Shivkumar Awalkanthe, stated that this is the third lottery conducted by the Nashik Board this year. Previously, the Board successfully allotted 379 houses, 105 shops, and 32 plots. In addition, the online application process for the fourth lottery, which will offer 402 houses on an advance installment basis, has already commenced. Hostels for working women will be developed in Pathardi (Nashik) and Jalgaon, while old-age homes will be constructed in Dhule and Jalgaon.

The lottery included a total of 447 housing units, comprising 60 units under the MHADA Housing Scheme and 387 units under the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme. A total of 234 applications were received for the 60 units under the MHADA Housing Scheme, while 713 applications were received for the 387 units under the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme.

The online registration and application process for this lottery was inaugurated on September 4, 2025, by the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), Mr. Sanjeev Jaiswal (IAS).

The event was attended by the Chairman of the High-Level Lottery Monitoring Committee, Sub-Divisional Officer and Land Acquisition Officer Mr. Ravindra Bharde, District Technical Officer Mr. Vikram Naik, along with other officials and staff.
