MHADA Nashik Board Holds Computerized Lottery for 333 Affordable Homes

The Nashik Housing and Area Development Board, a unit of MHADA, conducted a computerized lottery for 333 homes under various housing projects in Nashik city and Ahmednagar. The lottery was held at the Nashik Board office at Ram Ganesh Gadkari Chowk and was conducted by Nashik Board Chairman Ranjan Thakare.

The available homes are located in Pathardi Shivar, Mhasrul Shivar, Makhmalabad Shivar, Chunchale Shivar, Adgaon Shivar and Satpur Shivar in Nashik, along with properties in Ahmednagar. A total of 493 applications were received for the lottery, including 341 applicants who submitted the required earnest money deposit.

Speaking at the event, Ranjan Thakare said the Nashik Board has continued to make affordable housing opportunities available to the public through housing lotteries. He said the latest draw will provide 333 successful applicants with an opportunity to move closer to homeownership and added that similar computerized lotteries will continue to be organized for upcoming housing projects.

Applicants and officials attended the lottery program at the Nashik Board office. Successful applicants present at the venue were also felicitated by the Nashik Board chairman. To make the process accessible to applicants who could not attend in person, MHADA provided a live webcast of the lottery through its official @mhadaofficial YouTube and Facebook channels.

The computerized lottery reflects MHADA’s continued use of digital processes to conduct housing allotments in an organized and transparent manner while expanding access to affordable homes for eligible applicants across the Nashik region.
