Pune, August 24, 2026: The Pune Housing and Area Development Board of MHADA has opened applications for a major housing lottery offering 4,462 homes across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. With prices starting at ₹13 lakh, the scheme provides an affordable homeownership opportunity for eligible residents seeking housing in the region.
Online registration for the lottery began at 12 noon on August 24, 2026, and applicants can submit their forms and make online deposit payments until 11:59 p.m. on September 15. Those choosing RTGS or NEFT will have until banking hours on September 16 to complete their payments. MHADA will publish the preliminary list of applicants on September 29, with objections and claims accepted until October 1. The final eligible list is scheduled for October 8, followed by the computerized lottery draw on October 13, 2026, at 11 a.m.
The homes are spread across several locations under different housing schemes. Under the Social Housing Scheme, properties are available in Manjari Khurd, Mhalunge and Bhugaon. The Comprehensive Housing Scheme includes locations such as Dhanori, Warje, Katraj, Hadapsar, Pashan, Kharadi, Baner, Dhayri, Lohegaon, Mundhwa, Bavdhan and Kondhwa Khurd.
Applicants looking for homes in Pimpri-Chinchwad can find properties across Moshi, Kivale, Dudulgaon, Tathawade, Wakad, Chikhli, Ravet, Punawale, Balewadi, Rahatani, Vadmukhwadi, Pimple Saudagar and Pimple Gurav.
The lottery includes eligibility requirements based on household income. For the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, annual family income must be up to ₹6 lakh, while the Low Income Group (LIG) category has an annual income limit of ₹9 lakh. Applicants must provide income documentation covering the financial period from August 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. The combined income of the applicant and spouse will be considered for determining eligibility.
MHADA has advised prospective applicants to carefully review the eligibility requirements, scheme details, terms and conditions, and required documents on the official MHADA platform before submitting their applications.
